Wow, cannot believe you have only started photography in April, have to say your work is breath taking. Hope I will be able to get my shots half as good as yours.
Again, amazing photos, keep them coming.
So far so good with the changes you’ve made… looking really professional and shows off your images really well. All that hard work and checking through rows and rows of text for errors will be worth it! Just need an updated photo to show off your beard 😉
This is the photo section, where we have the photos. There will be more photos later, but we haven’t put those photos up yet, so these are the photos we have now, prior to us having more photos, which, as I said, we will have later. Photos.
Ali I love this site, you’re doing so well! I’m trying to get into photography, think you could maybe give me some advice please? Its the technological side of things that baffles me, would really appreciate any hints/tips. Would also be good to just catch up, it’s been way too long, miss you dude!
Great to see your back up and running.

Hi , enjoyed talking to you & Barry at Thornley hide on Wednesday. Your pictures are stunning. Hope that with plenty of practice that I can take some decent shots. Don’t think I’ll ever be as good as you! Saw you going down to Far Pastures today. Did you see anything?
Regards, Maria
My name is Piter Jankovich. oOnly want to tell, that your blog is really cool
And want to ask you: is this blog your hobby?
P.S. Sorry for my bad english
Thanks for your comment. My website (and blog) are part of my photography hobby. I would consider myself as a semi professional photographer as I do make a bit of money from it, but it is mostly a hobby.
Your work is inspiring, if i hadn’t seen your photos before i would think you had been taking photos for eons not just since 2007, they are an absolute pleasure to view.
One of the best galleries I’ve visited. Beautiful images. I read the list of lenses you use – which one did you use to take the magnificent bird shots?
Thanks for the kind comment Norman. Almost all of the wildlife shots were taken with the Sigma 300mm f2.8, and most of those with a 1.4X converter to give me a 420mm f4 lens. I have actually sold that lens now as it was a bit too big and heavy for my current style of shooting. Have replaced it with a Nikon 300mm f4.
Lovely to read your reflections. Really pleased that you hold so many special memories. Hold on to them until I return as I would love lunch and a chat about our time away from normality! I too am so much less stressed, what is it with normal life that does this to us?
Merry Christmas and heres to amazing adventures in coming years
Sorry for the late reply. iji Gear is a little bit on the back burner at the moment as I have other projects on. But I have made a number of items for myself that will be undergoing testing to see if they will be made available through ijigear.
